WORK POSITION & COMPANY – I’m a science teacher at Chaparral Middle School. 

Teaching is a new career for me after working in the biotechnology industry for 17 years, including 10 years at Amgen.

BORN & RAISED –I was born in El Paso, Texas

FAMILY & PETS – I’m married to Bill Moellering and we have two children, Shauna and Levi, and one 4-year-old grandson, Seth.  Levi and I teach Celebration Circle class during second service. 

HOBBIES/OTHER ACTIVITIES – Running, hiking, riding my horses

FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE & WHY – John 13:34-35 Sometimes I become discouraged at the way people treat my children or family, and I become angry at them.  This commandment keeps me calm and refocuses my energy in showing them love and maybe becoming a model for them.  Especially in my role as a teacher I think this is important.

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU – I have been to Africa twice – one of those times was with the Mission group to the Baraka girls’ orphanage.
