Integration And Discipleship Ministry Team

 “Strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith.” Acts 14: 22

The Integration and Discipleship Ministry Team’s objective is to integrate new members into the church, equipping them to grow in their faith and become committed followers of Jesus Christ. 

This goal is accomplished in several ways:

Through Interest Sheets completed in the new member’s class, each person is presented with the opportunity to be involved in areas of interest, growth and service in our ministry programs.  Members are encouraged to develop Spiritual Gifts to benefit the Body of Christ.

The Ministry Team provides renowned Christian speakers and Biblical scholars to teach and train.

Integration of members cannot effectively take place if the members do not know each other’s names.  Name tags are provided for all members with encouragement to wear them Sunday mornings.

Being in a small group with other believers is a vital part of a disciple’s growth in Christ.  Our Small Group Ministries director, Karen Bryan provides opportunities for individuals and couples to participate in groups using various study aids where growth in God’s Word can take place.  Through these groups trust, intimacy and accountability are nurtured as well.

During the weeks of Lent, the congregation is encouraged to participate in Lenten small group studies which correspond with the Sunday sermons.  Also during this time, Lenten Devotionals prepared by leaders in the church are provided for daily inspiration.
